HOW IT WORKS

Q-Switched laser energy fragments tattoo pigment into smaller particles. Your body gradually processes these particles, so fading continues between appointments.

RESULTS

Complete removal cannot be guaranteed. Response depends on ink colour/composition, depth, density, tattoo age, location, professional/amateur application, cover-ups, scarring and individual response.

SESSIONS

Multiple sessions are normally required. Appropriate intervals allow skin recovery and time for the body to process fragmented pigment.

CONSULTATION & PATCH TEST

We assess your goal, tattoo size/location, colours, previous removal, skin type, medical history, medication and sun exposure. Patch testing is carried out where required.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Temporary frosting/whitening, redness, warmth, swelling, tenderness, pinpoint bleeding, blistering, crusting or scabbing can occur.

AFTERCARE

Keep the area clean. Do not pick, scratch or deliberately burst blisters. Avoid heat, swimming, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, heavy exercise and irritating products during early healing. Protect from UV and use high-factor SPF once appropriate.

COVER-UP FADING

You do not necessarily need complete removal. Tell us if your goal is to fade the tattoo sufficiently for a cover-up.
